2021-2025 SD Cancer Plan

Based on the need and benefit that would be derived from coalition
action, the coalition should focus efforts on implementing strategies to
address the following priorities in the next year.

Priority 5: (Current Priority) Increase HPV vaccination rates
Priority 6: Increase risk-appropriate screening for breast cancer
Priority 7: Increase risk-appropriate screening for cervical cancer
Priority 8: Increase risk-appropriate screening for colorectal cancer
Priority 9: Increase risk-appropriate screening for lung cancer
Priorities 6, 7, 8, & 9 (Current Priority): Early Detection Health Equity
Priority 10: Increase participation in cancer clinical trials
Priority 12: (Current Priority) Improve availability and use of advance care planning, palliative care, and end-of-life care services for cancer patients
Priority 11: Promote quality cancer care and supportive services (the CCCP was awarded funding to increase support networks to offer psychosocial support for childhood cancer survivors and their families while also incorporating pediatric cancer within the SD Cancer Plan)
