This survey is a part of the Danube Transnational Programme financed project WE.Circular - “Boosting digital and industrial capacity for sustainable circular transition of women entrepreneurs in the Danube Region”. You are invited to participate and contribute to the assessment aimed at understanding the unique skills, needs, and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the Danube Region. This survey is part of a broader initiative to support the transition towards a more sustainable, digitally integrated, and circular economy. Your insights are invaluable to us and will directly contribute to shaping policies and strategies that foster an enabling environment for women entrepreneurs.

This survey seeks to gather detailed insights into:
  • The current state of women-owned or co-owned businesses in the context of the circular economy (CE), digitalization, and Industry 4.0 (i4.0).
  • The challenges and opportunities presented by the adoption of smart specialization strategies (S3) and the impacts of external factors such as COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine.
  • The specific needs for support and resources to enable a successful transition to CE practices and the integration of digital technologies.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of this research. Results will be reported in aggregate form, and no individual participant will be identifiable. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may choose to withdraw at any time without any consequences. Your feedback will directly inform the development of targeted support strategies and policy recommendations aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in the Danube Region. By participating, you are contributing to a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous economic future.

We deeply appreciate your time and insights. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at amra.kapo@efsa.unsa.ba.

Thank you for your valuable contribution to this important initiative.
