Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rating System Survey for Consumers
All retail food establishments (including restaurants, bars, convenience stores, bakeries, food trucks, and grocery stores) are required to undergo regular food safety inspections. In most cases, your local health department is responsible for conducting these inspections. Food safety inspection reports are public records and can be requested by anyone. There is a Colorado state law that governs the retail food establishment inspection rating system. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment or a local public health agency (LPHA) may decide to display an inspection rating for a retail food establishment on their website; however, it is not required. We would like your input to help refine the system to make sure it is useful to the public. Thank you for your assistance!
