The AAUL is part of a large and diverse group of nonprofit institutions that play a key role in Austin and Central Texas and help to form and strengthen central Texas communities. With the help of volunteers and the generosity of countless donors, we provide many services and perform many functions that are critical to improving the Quality of Life for marginalized and excluded individuals and groups.

The AAUL provides support to other nonprofit and service organizations, to in partnership, help it accomplish its goals for services, programs or special initiatives and to solve societal issues resulting to a lower community wide quality of life. To request support from the AAUL, complete this form and submit back to the AAUL. Submit the request for support three(3) to four(4) months before need. Incomplete forms will not be considered for support.

Cultural Event - an event promoting the fine arts or other human intellectual achievement and its purpose shall not primarily be of a commercial nature.

Creative Exhibitions -the gathering of artistic objects, talents and skillsets into a space for a temporary event. The exhibition or show may include work by a single creative, works on a single topic or theme, from a specific era, in a defined medium, from a defined geographic region, or a combination of all of these.

Social Action -programs, services or initiatives designed to ensure that the equitable social or community basic needs of vulnerable or marginalized population/groups are implemented and have impact towards an improved quality of life for those populations/groups.

Sporting/Athletic events - amateur sport, athletic game, contest, event, marginalized individuals or groups for which free admission tickets are offered and that is viewed by the public; and an activity requiring skill or physical prowess usually competitive in nature and governed by a set of rules provided by a recognized sanctioning body.

Nonprofit educational institution/program -public or nonprofit educational institution/program whose primary function is education and or education supportive/developmental, whose programs are accredited by a recognized accrediting agency or association, who is legally authorized to provide a programs/services/activities of organized instruction or study, who provides an educational program/services/activities for which it awards academic degrees, credential and of certifications, whose educational programs are available to the public.
