Exit PSEC - Student Advisory Council Recommendation Introduction The Philadelphia STEM Equity Collective (PSEC) seeks to create a social framework for change; specifically seeking to increase the number of Black, Latinx and women Philadelphians going into STEM careers by 2030. The goal of the PSEC Student Advisory Council (SAC) is to guide the efforts of the Collective through the student voice. The twelve members of the Council will help guide strategies and provide feedback on their effectiveness for the beneficiaries of the Collective. To reach the PSEC’s goal, we understand that a cross-sector of Philadelphians must be present; student attendance and input is critical to the success of the PSEC goals. Student participation is so important that two students from the Council will be part of the PSEC Steering Committee. The information gathered will be used to ensure our collective leadership roles are diverse and representative of our communities. We appreciate your honest perspective on the student you are recommending. The deadline for this completed recommendation Friday, March 1st, 2024 at 5:00pm EST.
