We need ~80 volunteers to staff booths for Your Money, Your Life! sets.

At this event, 600+ 8th - 12th grade students will participate in the Your Money, Your Life! program (formerly Reality Check) on Thurs., Oct. 10, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., at Sheffield High School, Indoor Practice Facility.

The following schools will participate:
- Cherokee High School
- Colbert County High School
- Colbert Heights High School
- Covenant Christian School
- Deshler High School
- Muscle Shoals Middle School
- Sheffield High School

Your Money, Your Life! is a program of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Lauderdale County Office.

The Shoals Chamber partners with Extension's Lauderdale County office to help recruit volunteers for the program.

THANK YOU for registering as a Volunteer for Your Money, Your Life! - the FUN personal budgeting simulation for youth! We conduct the this program several times a year for various student groups.

General Schedule:
8:00 a.m. - volunteers gather & organize
8:15 a.m. - volunteer orientation & training
8:30 a.m. - students arrive
12:30 a.m. - program ends

For your information, below are the various booths we will need staffed. We will have just one of each booth this time.  If you have a preference, plan to get there early to stake your claim! 

We cannot guarantee you will get the booth of your choice.  We appreciate your willingness to land wherever there's an empty spot! You will have fun with the kids no matter which booth you staff.

We will have a very brief orientation / training at 8:15 a.m. (kids will begin 8:30 a.m.).  There are instruction sheets at each booths to guide you, as well as lots of seasoned volunteers willing to share their plethora of knowledge & experiences from past Your Money, Your Life! events!  So if you cannot be there at the very beginning don't fret!  It's not rocket-science.  A little on-the-job-training will work just fine.
