Braille Music Survey by National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped of The Library of Congress
Introduction
The Music Section at Library of Congress’ National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) is developing a national Digital Braille Music Repository for the mutual benefit of institutions that provide on-request braille sheet music to patrons with disabilities.
NLS envisions the Repository to be the first source that disability services offices contact when seeking to fulfill requests for braille sheet music. Participating institutions will be able to contribute and access materials and refer patrons to obtain materials from the Repository, reducing response time for users and duplication of effort for institutions.
If you represent an institution that provides braille sheet music, we would appreciate your input. Please complete our short survey. It only takes about 5 minutes.
