Lindstrom Mural Project
Thank you for supporting this project. Lindstrom received a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council to paint a mural on the west side of the Liquor Store. As part of a Downtown update, Lindstrom is planning a small plaza seating area in front of the Lindstrom Bakery. From this plaza you will be able to sit, and facing east, see the new Mural and the Coffee Pot Water Tower rising above.
We want your input… what should be included in the mural. We are looking for enduring themes and icons that uniquely define the city and people of Lindstrom and surrounding the land/geography.
We are collecting feedback between February 14 and March 15.
An Advisory Group (local volunteers who have a background in mural art and history) will review survey results and provide the Mural Artist with the top themes and icons. The Artist will sketch 3 mural designs, the Advisory Council will review, and the Lindstrom Council will choose one. The mural will be painted in June.
This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
