Developing Healthy Communities (DHC) has recently changed its name and legal status from ‘The Derry Healthy Cities Project’ to reflect the changing nature and geographical reach of our organisation.

It is as crucial as ever that we continue to champion inclusive attitudes to health and build capacity in our communities to challenge persistent rates of health inequalities.

Therefore, we are now entering a new phase for the organisation which will begin with the launch of our new strategic plan in 2019. This will set the direction for the work of our organisation over the next 3 years and beyond.

2019 will also include DHC leading Derry and Strabane’s renewed designation to Phase VII of the World Health Organisation’s European Healthy Cities Network.

The input and support of our partners and stakeholders is crucial to setting the direction for our organisation over the coming years. We would greatly appreciate your time in completing this short survey which consists of 3 questions by Friday 15th March.

There will also be the opportunity for further consultation on the first draft of the strategy. If you would like to feedback on our draft plan, or for a more detailed discussion about the future of our organisation, please do not hesitate to contact me at erin@dhcni.com
