ABCGN 2025 Excellence in Professionalism Distinction

Award Information

The American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses (ABCGN) is dedicated to professional development of gastroenterology nurses. This distinction recognizes facilities who support the gastroenterology nurse’s commitment to excellence through certification.

Eligibility:

Facility has 50% or greater of the nurses certified in gastroenterology.
Facility is a hospital based endoscopy unit, outpatient surgical or endoscopy center, or gastroenterology office or clinic.
Facility nurses are certified in gastroenterology by November of the year in which the facility is nominated.
Facility must submit a completed nomination form.
The facility may apply and receive the Excellence in Professionalism Distinction annually, as long as they meet the above criteria.

Please provide all required information for your facility.

Facilities that receive the Excellence in Professionalism Distinction will be recognized at the ABCGN Annual Business Meeting, Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Annual Course and receive a framed certificate of accomplishment.
