The 2024 Minnesota Realtor® Good Neighbor Award will recognize a Realtor® member who makes a positive impact on their community through their volunteer involvement with an organization. This annual award seeks to highlight the individual(s) within the real estate community who give so much of their time and talents to organizations that seek to improve the lives of those living in our great state of Minnesota.

We are asking you to nominate yourself or someone you know for this award. The recipient will receive a $1,000 one-time award to the 501(c)3 non-profit with which the Minnesota Good Neighbor is involved.

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, August 23, 2024. The recipient will be announced at the Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, September 25th at the UNITE! Convention.

PLEASE NOTE: You are able to start this application and go back to it at a later date from the same computer/web browser.

Award Rules & Eligibility Criteria
  • Nominees must be a member of NAR, Minnesota Realtors® and their local association of Realtors®.
  • Nominees should have contributed volunteer (unpaid) hours to a program that improves the livability of a community. The program's activities aren't limited to real estate or housing issues.
  • Nominees will be judged on level of personal contribution, impact of personal contribution, broadness of impact and the project's suitability a role model for other members.
  • Nominees should have made a significant contribution of personal time, but contributions of money, materials and other resources will be considered as well.
  • Nominees should be able to provide documentation of their involvement from the organization they served.
  • The award is intended to recognize individual contributions, not association-or-company-wide efforts. If an individual within your company can be singled out as instrumental to the success of a group effort, he or she is eligible. If the achievements of two people (such as a married couple or co-founders of an organization) cannot be separated, they can enter as a pair and their entry will be considered as one.
  • Some portion of the nominee's community work must have taken place during the last 12 months, but we'll consider ongoing efforts outside that timeframe that demonstrate a depth of commitment.
  • The organization must be a 501(c)(3) to be eligible for a donation.
