The mission of the National Association of Fellowships Advisors (NAFA) is to promote the full potential of fellowship candidates through the application process and to foster the continued growth and professionalization of fellowship advising in higher education.
NAFA does not benefit financially from evaluations or consultation. We strongly recommend that universities and consultants use contracts that include detailed expectations.
Consultants are expected to be paid a stipend, but we leave the details of the amount to the discretion of the reviewer and the host institution. In addition, basic expenses such as hotel, car rental, airfare, meals, and travel costs are expected to be provided by the host institution.
