We are accepting school tour requests for the 2024-2025 school year.

Before requesting a tour, please review the School Tour page of our website to learn about options and pricing for field trips to the Speed.

About This Form: This form is intended for tour requests from K—12 school groups. Learn more about Community, University and Drop-in tours here.

Deadlines: All tours must be confirmed at least 3 weeks in advance of your visit.

Large Groups: Our current capacity is 90 students per field trip. Groups larger than 90 students will need to submit tour requests for multiple days. Please submit a new Request Form for each visit.

The Speed has received funding to fund student tickets and bus transportation reimbursement for Title 1 Schools in the Greater Louisville Region.

All Title 1 Schools outside of the Greater Louisville Region receive a 20% discount on student tickets.

To receive discounted or free admission, the Speed requires proof of your school's status. Schools must provide their school districts' official list of Title 1 schools or another form of proof.

Field trips can be booked September 4, 2024 through January 12, 2025.

A complementary hands-on art-making project is included in the ticket price.

This tour has a capacity of 60 students 6th grade and up, and tour times are restricted to 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Additional time may be spent in Art Sparks, our interactive gallery, or self-guiding in our Permanent Collection.

We are unable to schedule guided tours for groups visiting Kusama.

Schools that have a balance will be sent an invoice via email. Payment for all school tours is due on or before the date of your visit.
