Welcome to the Global Employment in Public Transport survey !

This survey aims to collect comprehensive data on the employment landscape within the Urban Public Transport (UPT) sector, focusing on direct and indirect jobs across various public transport modes. The collected information will be used to identify future needs, analyse gaps, and understand the impact of digitalization and other factors on employment. The survey targets both UPT operators and authorities
This survey will compile employment data from 2018 and 2023 and forecast data for 2028.

The data collected in this survey will be included in the Report : “Global Employment Data for Urban Public Transport”. The analysis results will be published as anonymous data. Neither the person nor the organisation providing any data will be identifiable in this analysis.
UITP may utilise this data to generate additional statistical reports and conduct further analyses to gain important insights into urban mobility trends.
