The Virginia Association of Museums (VAM) and the Virginia Recreation and Parks Society (VRPS) are working together to build greater knowledge and collaboration among staff that manage cultural heritage assets in parks and recreation departments throughout Virginia. For the purpose of this survey, cultural heritage assets are defined as museums, historical sites, monuments and locations/other features considered historically or socially significant to the community. Your responses will help develop a collective cultural heritage asset inventory and future training and resource needs.
