The Fresh Bus: Good Food Brought Home to You program delivers fresh produce to participating students at 68 eligible elementary schools in the Houston Independent School District. The fresh fruits and vegetables — made possible by grant funding from the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Fresh Fruits and Vegetables program — will be delivered weekly via the Fresh Bus school bus to several locations in your community.
 
The program begins Tuesday, May 26, 2020, and will continue through July. To participate, please complete the survey below. You will be notified by phone once your pick-up time is confirmed. When picking up produce, please remember to follow signage and maintain appropriate social distancing, as directed by public health guidelines and attendants on site.
 
You must complete a survey for each child you have enrolled in elementary school.
Information collected as part of this survey will be protected per district protocols and used to inform program practices and meet student needs.
