Demographic Survey (DEIA Committee Applicants) |
Introduction
The following survey was created to help IAYT better understand certain aspects of the demographic diversity represented by applicants to the DEIA committee. The data will allow IAYT to assess diversity of the applicant pool and identify opportunities for planning in line with our commitment to DEIA.
The survey is completely optional and you are under no obligation to take it. Each question is also optional. The survey is anonymous, stored separately on a different platform from your IAYT profile, and cannot be connected back to your application.
Each question typically provides “prefer to self-describe” and/or “prefer not to respond” options. Additionally, where practical, selection options that follow each survey question appear in alphabetical order. The survey consists of nine total demographic related questions and a 10th question that provides an opportunity to give us general feedback about your identities.
We respect all forms of human diversity and understand that sharing demographic information can be both sensitive and personal. We also understand that a demographic survey cannot begin to capture the richness and uniqueness of any individual’s diverse identities and experiences. In that light, we appreciate your willingness to share certain aspects of your own diversity with us.
