Supporting the mental health of CDPs

This survey is being conducted to inform the development of a trauma-informed workshop to support the mental health of CDPs (career development practitioners).
Components of this workshop will be presented at CANNEXUS, Canada’s career development conference, in January 2025. As facilitators and CDPs, our intention is to focus on the experiences of CDPs and to ensure that they have the tools and resources to best support their mental health.
“Trauma is the lasting emotional response that often results from living through a distressing event. Experiencing a traumatic event can harm a person's sense of safety, sense of self, and ability to regulate emotions and navigate relationships”. (CAMH)
Facilitators: Zeinab Alamagan and Nora M. Kelly
