Thank you for your interest in submitting a scholarship application to attend the IUSTI World Congress, taking place 16 – 20 September 2024 at ICC Sydney and the Burnet Training Program in November in Naarm (Melbourne) this year.

Please review the below criteria before submitting an application.

Scholarship Criteria:
  • Must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Be living and working in Australia
  • Work in a community-controlled health service / organisation
  • Must have approval to attend both the IUSTI World Congress in Sydney (Gadigal Country) on 17-20 September 2024 and Burnet Training Program* in November in Naarm (Melbourne) this year.
Burnet wishes to liaise directly with scholarship recipients for the scheduling of the training day. The content will be discussed with the recipients at the IUSTI Congress. All accommodation and flight costs will be covered by Burnet to attend.

Scholarship includes:
  • Conference registration, Conference dinner ticket, flights and accommodation for 3 nights (extra nights may be covered depending on flight availability to and from your destination).
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is included in the registration for the conference.
