This survey is a way of collecting data about the DIY/independent creative arts scene in the UK. The data will be used and shared with people who work in the creative arts sector to supplement lived experiences and provide evidence to support change within the current creative arts events landscape. I understand that there are more points to raise than I have covered, and this as a broad overview is a start.

The financial gap between commercial arts events and DIY/independent arts events (e.g. artist fees, promoter fees) is too high.
