9th International Research Conference on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

Please read the following announcement and scroll down for the application.

We are excited to announce that the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) has funded a conference grant, 2R13AA028176-04, to assist a limited number of individuals with partial travel support to present at the 9th International Research Conference on FASD in March 2025.

To qualify for this support opportunity, you must present an abstract (poster or oral) at the conference and either be a U.S. junior investigator (≤10 years within your doctoral degree) or an alcohol researcher from a typically underrepresented demographic group or country with otherwise limited resources.

The deadline to apply is 01/03/25 but the selection process will begin 12/23/24 and will continue until all of the available slots are filled. Thus, we recommend to apply ASAP. The R13 support may assist recipients with a portion of their lodging and/or registration fees. The maximum level of support will be $1080.00 plus registration fee. We expect more requests than available slots so please apply as soon as possible. Selected partial travel support recipients will be notified via email. For questions, contact Jo Votolato, Conference Director at votolato@fasdunited.org.

Sincerely, Edward Riley, Principal Investigator of the NIAAA R13 Seattle Grant
