Introduced in 2016, our ROI Awards Program recognizes and rewards members of our Smithfield Family for exemplifying our three guiding principles – Responsibility, Operational Excellence and Innovation. Since its inception, winners have represented a diverse group of individuals from across our global operations.

Helpful Nomination Tips:
- Include cost savings – if you saved the company money, time, or resources, make sure to include those figures!
- Be sure to include how this person or team has impacted their community.
- Teams are limited to no more than four nominees.
- Team members above the level of director or superintendent are not eligible to be nominated.
- Do not use departmental jargon without explaining what it means.
- Explain why the submission is significant, not just what was done. The "why" is as important as the "what".
- Use the survey form correctly. Answer the questions using the nomination form and upload supporting documents.
- Explain the lessons learned or the takeaways for your team/department/location.
- You cannot nominate yourself for the Responsibility ROI Award category.
