Queensland Writers Centre –
|
Through the Accessible Writing program, Queensland Writers Centre aims to create opportunities for NDIS participants to connect with professional, specialist writing mentors, exploring creative expression and social engagement through writing.
Adults and young adults (16+) with disability may choose to engage in the Accessible Writing program whether they want to write for pleasure, write about trauma or tell their story of disability, in alignment with personal and NDIS goals.
Please note: The writing mentors provided by QWC are experts in their field, and are not support workers. Their work falls under the category of “Therapy or Training - Other Professional”.
Following the submission of the form below, a member of the Queensland Writers Centre's Services team will be in touch to progress your application. If you require assistance with your application, contact the team at services@qldwriters.org.au or call on (07) 3842 9922.
Applications for Accessible Writing received now will be for services commencing in the new year, following Queensland Writers Centre's reopening in early January.
