Through the Accessible Writing program, Queensland Writers Centre (QWC) aims to create opportunities for NDIS participants over the age of 16 years to connect with professional writing mentors, exploring creative expression and social engagement through writing. Adults and young adults with disability may choose to engage in Accessible Writing whether they want to write for pleasure, write about trauma, write their story of disability, or craft the next bestseller by an Australian writer.
Please note: The writing mentors provided by QWC are experts in their field. They are not support workers. Their work falls under the category of “Therapy or Training - Other Professional”.
Following the submission of the form below, a member of the Queensland Writers Centre's Services team will be in touch to progress your application. If you require assistance with your application, contact the team at services@qldwriters.org.au or call on (07) 3842 9922.
