About the Conference

The "Intersection of Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCCs) and Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease Related Dementias (AD/ADRD)" conference, funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and supported by the American Geriatrics Society (AGS), the Advancing Geriatrics Infrastructure and Network Growth (AGING) Initiative and the Alzheimer's Diagnosis in older Adults with Chronic Conditions (ADACC) Network, will be held from Thursday, March 6 - Friday, March 7 (arrival on Wednesday, March 5) at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Bethesda, MD. The mission of this conference grant is to deepen research efforts relating to the science of MCCs and AD/ADRD in older adults, with the potential to greatly improve the health and healthcare of the growing population of older people. A major goal of this conference series is to define gaps and opportunities and to prioritize key questions for future research. We aim to assemble a diverse group of thought leaders and rising stars who bring unique perspectives and insights to the topic at hand.
