The purpose of the Waka Ama Census 2018, is to gather important demographic data about our Waka Ama Membership. This will enable us to have a clearer picture of who our membership are and how we can ensure that we best serve the needs of our Waka Ama community. Moving forward we will also be able to communicate more directly with our community.
It will also enable us to give a very clear picture of our waka ama community to our partners and potential sponsors.
Our goal is for everyone involved in the waka ama community to complete the survey.
If you are a parent or caregiver of a child who is a Waka Ama member, you may complete the Census survey on their behalf. For each child or family member you will need to complete a new survey - for all questions please complete the information as it relates to that child or family member

We collect your personal information in order to:
· better understand and communicate with our membership and ensure relevant and accurate statistics about our sport and its members.
We will not share personal information with any third party, however we will use general statistics from the data and may share these with third parties.
We keep your information safe by having password protected files and will only allow staff access if required.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
