The NoMa Business Improvement District (NoMa BID) in Washington DC is seeking talented local artists or design teams residing or working in the Capital region to submit basic qualifying and contact information to us in order to represent your interest in working with the BID on various public art projects to be installed in the coming year. Established professional artists and teams, AND those who are new to the field of public art are encouraged to submit examples of their work.
Most of our projects will involve outdoor installations and include, but are not limited to, murals, sculptures, digital/media/lighting installation art, community art, and architectural and design elements.
If you are interested in working with us and can apply your medium to sustainable, outdoor works (important), please fill out the form. Please make sure to include your correct email address and your name, as well as any artist name you use. It is also helpful to include, along with your sample work, your social media handles
The NoMa BID will assess all submitted information with an equal lens and does not require you to provide information related to your race, sex, gender identification, national origin, native language, religion, disability, age, or any other characteristic
protected by law.
About the NoMa BID: We are a 501 (c)(6) non - profit organization whose mission is to create a safe, welcoming environment for its residents, workers and visitors. We love using art to promote the ongoing growth, diversity and development of our district. Noma BID encompasses 35 blocks just north of Union Station in Washington DC.
