As part of our work to safeguard and grow writers’ incomes, The Writers' Union of Canada (TWUC) and your copyright collective, Access Copyright, have been working hard to bring the copying of published materials in Canadian schools, colleges, and universities back into a structured licensing marketplace. This autumn, TWUC will be providing testimony as part of Access Copyright’s defence in action filed by most of Canada’s K-12 (Kindergarten to Grade 12) educational ministries. To make sure we’re dealing with the most up-to-date and accurate information, we are checking back in with our membership.
