Share Your Small Business Startup Story
Tell us why Gunnedah Shire is a great place to build a business.
Have you built your own small business in Gunnedah from the ground up? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are now accepting submissions for our inaugural “Share Your Startup Story” competition.
As part of Small Business Month 2020, Gunnedah Shire Council is looking for those who have started their own businesses in the Shire to share their stories, from victories to struggles. The competition is aimed at showcasing innovative small businesses here in our Shire and igniting new ideas.
The competition is active throughout October, and businesses have from now through to Saturday October 31, 2020, to fill out the quick form below and share your story.
There are three prizes to be won:
The Mindful Business Hub Membership including:

12 Weeks access to the Mindful Business Community support Facebook group
Valued at $499
The Mindful Business Hub is a 12 week online program for regional small business owners, helping you to release your blocks, learn the tools, cement your goals and create your very own Mindful Business Strategy.
Two Cats Creative Business ReBoot Package
Including Four business headshot photographs and One blog/business profile
Valued at $600
Country Horizons Writing Services Package
Your choice of writing services, such as a Blog post, article for a newsletter, web page content or profile creation.
Valued at $200.

This giveaway is open to Gunnedah-Shire based small businesses only, except employees of Gunnedah Shire Council and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
Entrants must submit their ‘start-up story’, highlighting how they came to do business in Gunnedah, and why the Gunnedah Shire is the best place to do business.
Multiple entries from the same person/business will not be accepted.
Closing date for entry will be midnight October 31, 2020.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
Three winners will be chosen at random, from all entries received and verified by Gunnedah Shire Council.
We will make all attempts to allocate the winners their preferred prize, however this is not guaranteed.
The winner will be notified using the contact details they provide with their entry, within 24 hours of being drawn. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
