The well abandonment grant program provides funding assistance to properly fill and seal abandoned or unused private or non-community wells. This tool will guide you through a series of questions in order to determine if you are eligible to apply for a Well Abandonment Grant before you start the application process. Work completed before submitting an application and receiving DNR approval will not be reimbursed.
