-Projects designed and implemented by youth, and completed with minimal adult participation.
-Elementary/Middle School
-High School
Educator & Educational Institution
-Projects by college-aged students, faculty, or staff at an institution or the institution as a whole.
Government Programs
- Projects or programs funded by State, Municipal, County, or Tribal Governments.
Special Interest Organizations
-Projects or programs implemented by civic groups, neighborhood associations, churches, special interest groups, and non-profit organizations.
-501(c)(3) status not required.
-Indicate on your application the population of the organization's service area.
Business
-To recognize a business that has demonstrated environmental excellence through its people, a project, or a program.
-Nomination should include how many people the business employs.
KOB Affiliate Champion
-To recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to a KOB affiliate for three or more years.
-This individual may be a board member, volunteer, donor, or employee.
- Affiliates may nominate one person per year.
Community Volunteer
-To recognize a volunteer who helped build stronger communities through voluntary leadership and passion for KOB's mission.
-Volunteers who have made a positive difference in keeping their community beautiful.
Law Enforcement
-To recognize outstanding law enforcement entities who assist with ensuring the beauty and safety of this state.
-The nomination can be an individual or department.
Team Builders
-To recognize a project completed by multiple entities, working collaboratively to achieve a shared goal.
