Behavioral Health Volunteers to Support CA Children, Youth, and Families |
This opportunity is for licensed behavioral health providers in the state of California.
Our children and families are experiencing significant levels of stress and anxiety around the recent shootings that took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24, 2022. We invite therapists to share their contact information with families who are seeking temporary pro bono mental health services.
This opportunity is purely voluntary and your information will be disclosed to the general public as requested by the school communities across the state. If you are a licensed behavioral health provider with a license in good standing to provide services in the state of California, we invite you to share your information. Families may contact you directly to inquire about services. NASW-CA does not and will not endorse or vet any particular professionals but will strongly encourage families to apply due diligence in their search for the right support person. We will leave it up to each therapist's discretion to coordinate with families as to how many and the types of services you would like to offer without cost. If you would, at any point, like to be removed from this list after submitting your information, please email your full name and credentials to contact@naswca.org.
Thank you for stepping up to support children and families during this time.
