Welcome to the ACS Traineeship/Internship Application Portal!

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in joining Adolescent Counseling Services (ACS). We are thrilled to learn more about you and your goals as you embark on this important step in your professional journey!

To get started, please complete the brief application linked below. This will help us better understand the type of experience you’re seeking in a Traineeship or Internship and how your interests align with our program opportunities and needs. While we strive to consider your preferences, we must also balance them with the needs of our programs. These details can be discussed further during the interview process.

Please note that we do not interview every applicant. To ensure your application receives the best consideration, we strongly encourage including a complete résumé or CV, a thoughtful cover letter, and, as outlined by your programs, at least one letter of recommendation. These materials help us gain a fuller picture of your strengths and readiness for this experience.

All of our student trainees (PhD/PsyD) and interns (MFT/MSW/PCC) at Adolescent Counseling Services receive a meaningful clinical experience and exceptional supervision throughout their time with ACS. Our goal is to provide a supportive, professional environment where you can grow into your unique voice as a developing clinician working with young people in the Bay Area.

We look forward to supporting your growth and being a part of your professional journey.

Sincerely,

The Clinical Team at Adolescent Counseling Services (ACS)
