Dorset Policing Precept 2025/26

Funding your police service is an ongoing priority for me. Ensuring the Chief Constable has the resources needed to continue the important work already happening is vital and will only be possible if rising cost pressures can be met, and the budget balanced.

As Dorset’s Police and Crime Commissioner, I place great emphasis on my responsibility to ensure that your views help shape the future of policing in our county. This survey is vitally important, and the results will have an impact on every local resident and business in Dorset. I will use the information shared through this process to set the policing element of council tax precept for 2025/26 and assist with deciding how best to spend our budgets.
