Who is conducting this study?
This study is conducted by Co-Principal Investigators Rev. Dr. Leah Schade, Associate Professor of Preaching and Worship at Lexington Theological Seminary, and Dr. Wayne Luther Thompson, Professor Emeritus at Carthage College, and Rev. Dr. Amanda Wilson Harper, professor of social work at Tarleton University.

Who qualifies for the study and what is expected?
If you are a Christian preacher in the U.S. who has preached at least once in the past 12 months, please share your opinions by completing this confidential and anonymous questionnaire. Approximate completion time is fifteen minutes.

What is the study's purpose?
To learn about preaching topics and experiences with preaching, especially around "social issues" which are defined as public issues that affect society, including those inside and outside of the church.

How will the data be used and confidentiality protected?
Responses will be aggregated to ensure anonymity in any academic presentations and published writings.

Are participants compensated?
There is no compensation for participating in the research, except optional entry for a free book drawing.
