Philpott Dam Water Flow Survey
The Dan River Basin Association (DRBA) is a nonprofit organization that preserves and promotes the cultural and natural assets of the Dan River Basin, which includes the Smith River.
We know that clean and healthy waterways are essential for quality of life and the health of its citizens. But the Smith River also contributes to a healthy, local economy through the development of recreational assets to their full potential. We consult, partner and collaborate with several state, federal and local authorities and a variety of other partners and stakeholders to ensure our waterways stay healthy for future generations.
In addition, we also know that understanding the needs of the public are critical to resource management. We believe that all input is valuable.
This survey will give you an opportunity to provide input and feedback that will be shared with local, state and decision-making stakeholders. We hope you will take a few minutes of your time to complete this survey and help offer your opinion related to decisions concerning the use of the waters of Philpott Lake and the Smith River.
Thank you!
