1. About this survey

Disaster Preparedness Survey

People with Disability Australia (PWDA) are consulting with our members to better understand your current knowledge of the risk of disasters in your local area, how you currently plan for a disaster, understanding of the current services available to help during a disaster and the support that is available after a disaster.

A disaster is a sudden, severe event that causes great damage, loss, or destruction. It can be natural, like a flood or bushfire, or human-made, like an oil spill or power outage.

The information we gather during this consultation will help identify gaps, barriers and opportunities for more inclusive disaster management planning.

The survey will close at 11:59pm AEST on 15 August 2024.

How long will the survey take?
Approximately 15 minutes. Required questions are marked with an asterisk (*).
