Mississippi will receive a once in a lifetime injection of federal funds to expand the broadband (high speed internet) network to unserved areas (unserved less than 100/20 speeds) over the next 5 years.  The goal of this survey is to collect current and potential community college assets to meet the huge demand for a well-trained workforce in this industry.
Community College workforce personnel, industry leaders, state and local leaders will convene at the Spring Broadband Summit, May 11th, 2023, located on the campus of Millsaps College.

We hope to have representatives from all community college workforce teams around the state to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with this new statewide training initiative.
