Award Information

The AllWays Safe Agricultural Safety Award – Company Recognition Program honors businesses that have committed themselves to ensuring the safety and health of their agricultural workers. The AllWays Safe Agricultural Safety Awards is a collaborative effort between AgSafe and the Almond Board of California, who share a commitment to protect the agricultural industry’s workforce.

The size of a business plays a role in the scale and scope of a safety and health program. As such, the Company Recognition Program will honor two companies – a small company, with 50 or fewer employees and a large company with 51 or more employees. This award will honor the success of small and large companies who ensure their workers go home safely at the end of each day. In addition, this award brings to light the positive steps taken by the food and farming industries to keep employees safe and healthy while continuing to run profitable and successful businesses.

For consideration, companies must complete a confidential self-audit application assessing the following safety and health criteria:
  • Hazard Identification and Control
  • Communication and Documentation
  • Training
  • Management’s Commitment to Safety
  • Your Safety Perspective
One winner will be selected for each category and two company representatives will be recognized at ACTIVATE25, the Annual AgSafe Conference, the evening of February 26, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey, CA. Representatives from AgSafe and the Almond Board of California will present each winner with a plaque and a token of appreciation for their achievement. In addition, AgSafe will promote the company’s achievement with local and industry media.
Nomination applications must be received no later than January 10, 2025.
