Introduction To The Survey

S3 Solutions are an independent consultancy company who have been commissioned by the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) to carry out a piece of research on the barriers to involvement in Public Participation Networks (PPN). We are keen to explore the demographic characteristics of groups and individuals involved in all 31 PPNs in Ireland and in doing so, investigate the diversity of participation and where appropriate explore the barriers and challenges for diverse groups in actively participating in PPNs.
