The VBA is seeking registered building inspectors and surveyors to assist with secondary site assessments of bushfire affected properties in the East Gippsland and Towong Shires.
If you are able to commit at least one week (preferably two or more weeks) to this bushfire recovery effort, please complete the registration form below by 28th February (registrations will still be taken after this date but may not be considered for more immediate needs)
The VBA will forward your completed application to the East Gippsland Shire Council for their consideration. The Council will then contact you directly to confirm your availability, organise accommodation and discuss any other requirements.
You will need to provide your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), especially personal items such as boots. Protective equipment such as masks may be provided. Appropriate safety training and induction will be required including asbestos training.
The VBA believes that a concerted effort will be required over many months, so all assistance is greatly appreciated.
