Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for a professional development workshop with the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture!
While we're open to any proposals that help artists and culture workers advance their careers, right now we're particularly interested in the following topics for upcoming workshops:

- Grant writing and project development
- Teaching artist programs and pedagogy
- Program design and evaluation
- Youth engagement and mentoring
- Contracts, agreements, and invoicing
- Newsletters and mailing lists
- Board recruitment and development
- Podcasting
- Artist and mission statements
- Material preservation and archiving
- Accounting and budgeting
- Public relations and pitching media
- Incorporation (nonprofit v. LLC)
- Strategic planning
- Social media
Please note: we are *not* looking for workshops in actual art practices or instruction--for example, that teach people how to paint, write, sing, etc. Similarly, we are not looking for proposals on art history.
To submit a proposal, all you need to do is fill out your contact information and send us a quick pitch for your workshop. If you have a few extra minutes, you can also complete the form and send us a full proposal. Either way, we'll follow up for a quick meeting if we're interested in moving forward.
Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis. We cannot guarantee responses for individual submissions. While you can save your progress in the form, you cannot make changes once you submit. Feel free to submit as many proposals as you'd like.
