Park-n-Ride Survey for Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024

Are you taking Park-n-Ride on April 8?

Local officials anticipate 300,000 or more visitors will come to Lake County for the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8 and even more visitors to the Greater Cleveland region. In addition to the eclipse, Cleveland is hosting the Women’s NCAA Final Four Tournament the weekend prior and the Cleveland Guardians home opener on Monday, April 8.

Due to the solar eclipse, we are preparing for major traffic congestion and extreme delays throughout Northeast Ohio on Monday, April 8. We expect all trips to take much longer than normal and it will be very difficult for buses to remain on time throughout the day, especially in the hours just before and after the eclipse.

Laketran is considering modifying our Park-n-Ride service and would like customer feedback on your travel plans for Monday, April 8.
