Four workshops available across the city, plus one online
Are you part of Belfast’s heritage sector?
Join researchers from Starling Start and fellow organisations from the heritage sector for an engaging session on heritage in Belfast. Each workshop will feature case studies from heritage organisations around the city, followed by discussion of strengths of the local sector as well as the challenges it faces and the needs it has.
Who should attend? The workshops are open to organisations large and small, whether heritage is your main focus or part of a project you deliver. Anyone working in heritage is welcome - from historic buildings and conservation to community and cultural heritage, from the arts and crafts to food, from industry to sport.
Why is this important? By taking part you will help to inform an ongoing audit of the heritage sector which is currently being carried out by Starling Start on behalf of Belfast City Council. The audit aims to understand the scope of organisations and projects working across the city today, and to put forward practical actions to develop and support the sector.
It promises to be an enjoyable event, during which you can share ideas with colleagues, hear case studies from others working in heritage and contribute to strengthening the sector. Tea and coffee will be served.
How else can I get involved? You can also contribute by filling in our short Heritage Sector survey on Belfast City Council's YourSay website.
