Emerging educators incorporating technology-driven approaches in dental education play a crucial role in preparing students for the rapidly evolving field of dentistry.
In keeping with AAL's vision to help dental educators discover the path to their success, AAL is excited to announce an ITL scholarship opportunity for emerging educators in technology-driven approaches. The Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) is designed to help participants achieve better student outcomes by refining their teaching skills, enhancing the quality of their interactions with students in the classroom and the clinic, and shaping student learning in preparation for ever-evolving needs.
INTENDED SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS:
· Private practitioners transitioning to academic careers
· Educators in academia for two years or less

- Contribute to the advancement of dental education by ensuring students are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in modern dentistry.
· Refine participants’ teaching skills to enhance the quality of their interactions with students and develop other skills that will facilitate confidence, job satisfaction, and professional growth in the academic environment.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Applicants will receive notification of scholarships awards in May 2024. Registration tuition fee ($3,500.00) waived only. This award does not include payment of travel or hotel accommodation expenses.
