Survey of beef & sheep farmer business intentions in Wales, 2024

Rising inflation and increasing farm input costs have significantly challenged the agricultural sector, impacting profitability and complicating decision-making for Welsh farmers. To better understand these issues, Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) surveyed Welsh farming businesses in September 2022 and 2023.

HCC now invites farmers across Wales to participate in a third survey to assess current challenges and future business plans, helping to guide future discussions.
