Tribal ICWA Advocates Training Needs Assessment 2021-2022 |
The Tribal Indian Child Welfare Advocates Training Program is administered by the National Indian Justice Center pursuant to a contract with the California Department of Social Services.
The goal of the program is to provide training and educational resources to social workers and other professionals working on Indian Child Welfare cases.
Project training sessions include Tribal Criminal Background Checks, Tribal Customary Adoption, Active Efforts, Stages of Dependency, Court Advocacy Skills for ICWA Advocates, and Qualified Expert Witness.
