Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership

Each year, our Downtown Pittsburgh Satisfaction Survey helps us gain valuable insights into the public’s experience and perceptions of our neighborhood as well as PDP's performance. The results give us important benchmarks for the effectiveness of our efforts across our organization and indicate where we should look to engage partners to address issues beyond our immediate scope.

Downtown Pittsburgh continues to evolve and adjust to the changes brought on by the pandemic. Despite challenges still remaining, there are many signs that indicate movement in a positive direction. The past year saw record breaking attendance at Picklesburgh, visitor traffic that approached pre-pandemic levels, the success of the inaugural Pittsburgh Oktoberfest, residential occupancy rates that remained high, and, most recently, $600 million in planned investment for Downtown Pittsburgh announced by Governor Shapiro. The Governor’s ambitious plan aims to build more housing, revitalize public spaces, and improv cleanliness, safety, and affordability Downtown.
