Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, with support from Citizens, presents the Downtown Placemaking Grant, encouraging Pittsburghers to utilize and program our public spaces through community-focused events and activations.
We are now accepting applications for 2025 programming! Additionally, any submissions for winter programming ideas will receive expedited review and response, in an effort to bring the vision to life this winter.
This grant opportunity is open to both experienced and new creative minds who are passionate about Downtown Pittsburgh and our community. We encourage anyone with an idea for vibrant and welcoming experiences in public spaces Downtown to apply.
With grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, this initiative seeks to empower local individuals and groups to help us make Downtown an even more vibrant and welcoming place. As a passionate advocate for community, we recognize the pivotal role that well-designed public spaces and engaging events and public art play in creating a sense of belonging and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, allowing for flexibility and ensuring that innovative ideas can be implemented throughout the year.
