Background
Members of the Written Item Generation Team (WIGT) are responsible for writing and reviewing questions for the Written Component of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE). Experienced physiotherapists in all areas of practice are welcome. CAPR offers an annual honorarium to those who volunteer.

- participate in the development of written items for the PCE;
- commit to a minimum of 10 hours per month to the process of item writing;
- is comfortable using technology (Microsoft Word, Zoom and item writing platform);
- is willing to work to produce the established targets within the item writing time cycle; and
- understands, and adheres to, the strict confidentiality requirement to maintain the integrity of the PCE items.
