  • The Awards Committee reserves the right to determine best award category with consent of the nominator.
  • Nominees not selected will be held over for reconsideration for one additional year. If necessary, rollover nominations can submit additional or updated information for consideration.

The Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council presents annual awards to outstanding individuals, organizations, communities and tribes that further urban forestry in Wisconsin. The awards are announced each year at the annual Wisconsin Urban Forestry Conference and presented to winners in their community.

  • Award winners and nominators are notified by the Urban Forestry Council Award Committee Chair or UFC Liaison immediately upon selection.
  • Recipients are highly encouraged to attend the annual awards event. Should an award recipient be unable to attend, another person may be chosen by the recipient to accept on their behalf. The Urban Forestry Council provides one complimentary luncheon registration for each award winner and a guest.
  • Recipient names will be made public after the annual awards event.
